Black Hawaiian Ram

Your Black Hawaiian trophy is distinguished by the light multi curl wide sweeping horns of the Corsican breeds, and a beautiful all black body. Typically, Black Hawaiian Rams range from 150 – 180 pounds.

The Black Hawaiian Sheep is uniquely Texas, a member of the Corsican breeds created in the mid 1900’s through interbreeding of the European Mouflon and a variety of wool sheep (Rambouillet, Churro, Merino, and Jacob), in this case, a black haired sheep from Hawaii.

Many Trophy Hunters pursue the Texas Ram Slam, one of each of the Corsican breeds which have their roots in Texas; Barbado, Texas Dall, Corsican, Black Hawaiian, and Painted Desert. A Bar H Bar Ranch trophy is an excellent way to begin, finish, or add to your Texas Ram Slam.
