Native to the Sahara Desert, the Addax Antelope is a desert species known also as the screw-horn and white antelope. While the Addax has flourished in Texas since their introduction in the 1970s, in their native habitat they are endangered. The -H- is proud to have a thriving huntable population and support world wide species regeneration activities.
The Addax is a trophy not only for their impressive horns, the meat is a delicacy and the hide also tans beautifully.

Even though living and adapting to a harsh environment, the meat of the Addax is a very well adapted table fare. Even as lean meat the Addax if a nice textured sweet meat. As with most antelope be sure to not overcook!
